Maria A. Medina, began her education in the arts at Roehampton University in London, where she completed a BA Honours degree in Art History and Social Anthropology. After which she graduated with merit from Sotheby’s Institute of Art with a MA in Contemporary Art. Since then Maria has nurtured her knowledge and eye for art, gaining several years of professional experience managing art collections and exhibitions in a number of prestigious international and London-based galleries and auction houses including Sotheby’s, Hauser & Wirth and greengrassi gallery. Drawing on her passion, management and commissioning skills, and contacts in modern, contemporary art and old masters Maria, co-founded Studio[Arte] in 2010. Since then Maria has worked as an art consultant on numerous small and large art consulting projects for private clients and collections both in the UK and internationally.
